To provide uniform product temperatures, this True TUC-48D-4-HC undercounter refrigerator has an oversized refrigeration system that is factory balanced with a guided airflow. Its self-contained capillary tube system uses R290 hydrocarbon refrigerant—an eco-friendly alternative to traditional refrigerants. Fan motors in the system are electronically commutated, so they can evenly move cold air without creating a lot of heat or overusing energy. Adjustable by the operator to suit any application, the temperature ranges from 33 to 38 degrees Fahrenheit, and to retain cold air, the cabinet is foamed in place with polyurethane insulation in its walls. The unit's exterior is constructed of stainless steel on the front, top, and ends with a corrosion-resistant, GalFan coating on the steel back.
